CRATEMIX STUDIO TERMS OF SERVICE
Version 2026-10-28.1 | Effective October 28, 2026
1. Who operates the service
CrateMix Studio is operated by GRENARC LLC, Virginia, United States ("GRENARC", "we", "us"). These Terms govern your account, website access, software delivery, licensing services, and support. The separate Software License Agreement governs the application. Privacy and optional data choices are described in the Privacy Notice.
Legal and privacy notices: contact@grenarc.com.
Product and support contact: contact@cratemixstudio.com.
2. Agreement and eligibility
You must actively accept the current Terms and Software License Agreement before creating an account or accessing licensed software. You must be at least 18 and have reached the age of legal majority where you live. If you act for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it. Do not create an account with false information or impersonate another person.
Privacy notice acknowledgement is separate from optional permission to share feedback or contribute data for training. Refusing or withdrawing those optional permissions does not, by itself, reduce your ordinary account or software rights.
3. Accounts, approval, and licenses
Registration, email verification, account approval, a software license, and publication of a software build are separate steps. Creating or verifying an account does not guarantee approval, a license, a download, or continued availability of a beta. Keep your credentials private, use appropriate security measures, and promptly report suspected compromise. You are responsible for activity you authorize and for taking reasonable care of your account; you are not automatically responsible for events outside your reasonable control.
License duration, scope, seat limits, and any restrictions will be stated in the applicable grant or order. Unless expressly stated, a license does not include a guarantee of perpetual hosted services, source-code access, future features, or uninterrupted availability. We may require reasonable verification before restoring access or transferring an organization seat.
4. Regional availability
Availability follows our published supported-country list and applicable law. We use a local country-level IP database and may request your service country to administer availability. We do not use ethnicity, ancestry, or language to decide eligibility. Access from an unsupported region may be unavailable even if you have an account. Do not misrepresent your service location or deliberately evade availability or legal restrictions. If a location result is wrong, contact support for review.
Account access needed to manage privacy choices, make a data-rights request, or obtain support remains available separately from software eligibility. We may change the rollout list prospectively, subject to existing contractual commitments and mandatory rights.
5. Your work and third-party material
You retain the rights you hold in your projects, models, textures, materials, and other contributions. We do not acquire ownership of your work merely because you use the application. You must have the rights necessary to import, use, share, or distribute third-party material. Third-party assets and open-source components retain their own licenses; these Terms do not restrict rights those licenses grant.
Local projects are not automatically uploaded for hosting or training. When you deliberately submit support information or approved feedback, you give us only the permission reasonably needed to receive, secure, review, and respond to that submission for its stated purpose. Training use requires a separate, specific permission and an individually approved contribution. An account agreement or preselected preference is not that permission.
Do not submit credentials, authentication codes, unnecessary personal data, confidential third-party information, or material you are not authorized to share. AI-generated suggestions and outputs may contain errors or third-party material; review them and their suitability before use or distribution. We do not promise that an output is unique or eligible for copyright protection.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use the service to violate law or third-party rights; distribute malicious code; steal credentials; attack or probe systems without authorization; abuse support staff; send spam; exploit payment or licensing systems; resell or share account access without permission; or interfere with another user's data or availability. Authorized local MCP integrations are permitted within your license and documented service limits. Do not use automation to bypass access controls, quotas, regional availability, or approval requirements.
7. Fees and future subscriptions
No payment is collected unless you separately agree to a clearly identified paid offer through a payment process. A subscription or license entry does not itself authorize a charge. Future prices, renewal terms, cancellation methods, taxes, and applicable refund information must be disclosed before you purchase. Mandatory cancellation, refund, and consumer rights continue to apply. We will not silently convert a free beta account into a paid subscription.
8. Updates, beta features, and availability
Beta and experimental functions may be incomplete, change, or be withdrawn. We do not promise a particular release date or feature. Keep independent backups and verify exported work. For application updates, the app presents available release information and asks before installation and restart. An account does not entitle you to every future update. Security, compatibility, or legal requirements may limit continued use of obsolete versions, subject to applicable commitments and law.
We may apply reasonable storage, rate, download, and resource limits and perform maintenance. We will use reasonable efforts to communicate material changes that affect existing paid commitments. We do not guarantee that every interruption or defect can be prevented.
9. Suspension and termination
We may restrict an account or license for a material breach, credible security threat, fraud, legal requirement, or other legitimate reason allowed by the applicable grant. Where practical and safe, we will give a reason and a reasonable opportunity to correct a remediable problem. Urgent security or legal action may require immediate restriction. You may request review through support.
Optional privacy choices are not grounds for punitive suspension. Suspension does not remove statutory privacy rights. Ending an account does not transfer ownership of your work to us. Terms intended to survive, including payment obligations already validly incurred, ownership, confidentiality, lawful liability limits, and dispute provisions, survive to the extent applicable.
10. Warranties and responsibility
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICE AND BETA SOFTWARE ARE PROVIDED AS AVAILABLE AND AS IS, WITHOUT IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, absence of errors, fitness for every workflow, or the legal status of user-supplied material. This paragraph does not exclude an express written commitment or a warranty or remedy that applicable law requires.
11. Liability limits and fair exceptions
To the extent applicable law permits, GRENARC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential loss, or loss of anticipated profit, revenue, business opportunity, or goodwill arising from the service. To that same extent, our aggregate liability for the relevant service is limited to the greater of USD 100 or the amount you paid us for that service during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
These exclusions and limits do not apply where prohibited, including to fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence where it cannot be limited, death or personal injury where liability cannot be excluded, mandatory data-protection liability, or non-waivable consumer rights. Nothing requires you to surrender a right or remedy that applicable law preserves. If a limit is unenforceable, it applies only to the lawful extent; the remainder of these Terms remains effective where legally possible.
12. Third-party claims by business users
If you use the service for business, you agree, to the extent lawful, to cover reasonable third-party claim costs directly caused by your knowing unlawful use or unauthorized contribution of third-party material. This does not cover our own breach, negligence, or misconduct. We must give reasonable notice, allow reasonable participation in the defense, and not impose a settlement admitting your fault or requiring non-monetary obligations without your consent. This section does not impose an indemnity on a consumer where the law prohibits it.
13. Changes, notices, and disputes
We identify agreements by version and content hash and keep an acceptance record. Material changes requiring renewed agreement will be presented before further licensed access. A new policy does not retroactively authorize training or a new optional use of existing data.
Please contact contact@grenarc.com first so we can try to resolve a dispute. Subject to mandatory law, these Terms are governed by Virginia law and disputes may be brought in courts in Virginia with proper jurisdiction. This does not deprive a consumer of mandatory protection or a court available under the law of their habitual residence. These Terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or waive a non-waivable right to participate in a claim.
If a provision cannot lawfully be enforced, the remainder continues where legally possible. Failure to enforce a provision once is not a permanent waiver. No third party is given enforcement rights except where expressly provided or required by law.
